Created in 2021 to deal with the cultural desert caused by the exceptional health crisis, The Eternal and the Ephemeral is a Web series imagined and designed by Alexandra Cardinale and Julien Lestel to allow access to art and dance to as many people as possible.

The dancers being deprived of theaters and scenes … the museums being deprived of their public, reviving these artists in the middle of works of art, in these emblematic places was essential.

The Rodin Museum, the Museum of modern Art in Paris and the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac opened their doors exceptionally.

In a web series of fifteen episodes, choreographer Julien Lestel again disrupts the codes and presents his creations in these unique places.

Through solos, duos and ensemble pieces, a singular shape is created each time in a new space.
The spectator is transported into an exceptional universe where an unprecedented relationship of proximity is established between works of art and dancers.
